Banff National Park Engagement Photographer Sarah Pukin adventures to the top of a winter wonderland with two cool Geologists!

Have you ever wondered how stunning an Adventure session with a Banff National Park Engagement Photographer would be in a winter wonderland? well let me tell you its nothing short of amazing. I am a massive fan of Banff National Park in the winter especially for Engagement photos.

Once The Icefields Parkway opens for pre spring and the road conditions are mild my name is written all over it.

Lovers of the great outdoors!

Lucky for me Adrian and Greg are on the same page as me when it comes to the great outdoors. Both being Geologists not only was having Engagement photos in Banff National Park perfect for them but specifically Peyto Lake was one of their first choices (even in winter with five feet of snow to hike through).

If you have ever had the pleasure of driving on The Icefields Parkway you know once you get to a point there is no cell service so I loaded my playlist up with all the good jams I could think of and me being fashionably early left me eagerly awaiting their arrival.

The day was absolutely perfect – it was warm and sunny and I had such a blast with these two!

Fun Facts about these two amazing humans!

How they met //

We met on Tinder.. classic 2014 haha. Neither of us used it and it was a fluke that we happened to both download Tinder during the same week!

Engagement story //

Greg asked me! He planned a trip to Canmore in January 2019, where he proposed along the river. It was so quiet and beautiful. Right after we saw this huge heard of elk – probably 30 to 40 of them – in a field behind us. I cried when he proposed and it was such a special moment because it felt like the world stopped!

Their favourite thing about one another //

Gregs favourite thing about me is how I am super motivated to always achieve my goals or work towards a big accomplishment. I love how Greg never fails to make me laugh and always strives to accomplish greatness.

Their favourite part about their Banff National Park Engagement Photos // We loved how ridiculous the conditions were at our shoot..LOL. – constantly falling through the snow. It was such a fun shoot as geologists, we loved seeing such beautiful landscapes and being silly together.

How they felt about the location for their Engagement Photos //

“Because it rocked” But actually it was amazing because we are geologists haha. The rocks really solidified the experience!

What they are most excited and looking forward to for their Wedding day //

We are looking forward to an amazing day with friends and family, and starting a new chapter in life as a married couple.

If you could own a dinosaur as a pet what one would you choose? //

I would own a plesiosaurus.

Coffee, tea or booze? //

Coffee!

We would like to say that //

We had the most fun on our shoot with Sarah, she is such a blast to be around and we loved how it feels like we have been friends with her for years! Sarah found the absolute perfect location for our engagement photos, and we will truly remember the experience for the rest of our lives. The photos turned out amazing and we cannot wait until our wedding day for more fun!
