Engagement Favorites: 2008

January 22nd, 2009 • Anytime, Calgary Engagement & Partners Photography

So after a long day of adding photos into my website borders Ive decided to post a few favorites of the year.

With the beginning of 09 i started to reflect on the many accomplishments of 08, after clicking through memory lane and ooing and awwing over all the fabulous people i had the pleasure of photographing I decided to blog about the beautiful people ive met throughout the year.

If you found a special someone or that special someone asked you to spend the rest of your life with them feel free to contact me – and allow me to capture the moments you both create and share together.

Tyler & Jenn

A few simple moments together, where you stop to appreciate each other for who you are and who you make each other.

Tyler and Jenn after being best friends for many years found themselves falling in love, after a vacation together to Mexico Tyler popped the question and the rest is history. I’m just glad this history allowed me to capture their love.

These two were all giggle and smiles.

Sometimes the best photos happen in the midst of everything. Capturing a real smile is always my favorite thing. Tyler and Jenn were giggling about something between themselves and i was able to capture their silliness.

Lina & Rob

Lina came to me asking if i could create some beautiful images of her and Rob. I was extremely please she has asked me to have the honor of photographing them together. After a few ideas passed through my head about location we decided to shoot against some beautiful brick walls that were formally a hospital back in the day. It is easy to see that Lina & Rob were meant for each other by the way they interact together. Something truly special.

I had Rob climb up the side of the runins after he got up he looked down at Lina – im so glad i was able to capture this moment between them.

With a little Vintage touch Lina and Rob look amazing together.

Pam & Jason

Pam & Jason just wanted something simple and timeless for there engagement. After moving into there new house they found a beautiful arch that they wanted to get there session at. The following are a few of their moments.

Pam was a giggler – most couples are all giggles with smiles and radiate happiness; Pam defiantly was radiant.

Pam wanted a shot with her ring in it. And what a sparkling ring it is Pam!

Gift Cards

December 15th, 2008 • Anytime

I love the holiday season. The first snowfall always puts me in a festive mood – If you know me then you know my all time favorite drink of the winter season is the delicious Candie Cane Latte; if you dont know me at least now you know what my favorite drink of the holidays is now.

After a long awaited Latte the other day I started on the e mails. I was thinking about what gifts to buy for my friends and family.

I came up with an amazing idea for my brothers gift, as i was telling my mom about my plan to get my brother this “gift” (I cant exactly spill the beans right now can I ?) she said to me that not only was my idea a good idea but she would like the same gift.

It got me to thinking of gifts that people like to give that are different and original. Then my mind put two and two together and said “hey you should get gift cards.”

With Christmas and Hanukah approaching fast why not give the gift of a Photography session.

With that said Sarah Pukin Photography now has gift cards available. If you would like to know more about the gift cards or purchase one – feel free to send me an e mail.
