Today I became aware of one of the coolest ideas/causes ever. Since us photographers love to give back to the community and all the people in this wicked world I have been inspired to take part.

Here is what happens: You blog reader can go through all of my blog posts and comment on the posts you feel like commenting on.

I Photographer of beautiful people will donate 1 can of food to the food bank for every comment I receive!

I think this is a wicked idea – also if you poke your nose around you will see other photographers doing the same thing. I suggest we do our best and take a few minutes out of our day to put a smile on a photographers face and cans of food in the hands of people who need it most.

Lets make this cause something special and lets make it wicked. So every comment I receive from today (Thursday December 3rd, 2009 until Sunday December 20, 2009) I will add up and go over to good old Safeway and pick up some delicious cans of food (no grouse stuff like olives or spinach) we are talking delicious things here & make my way over to calgary food bank to deliver a difference in someones life this season!

If you want to help out with this cause feel free to drop me a line. I would love to take them over with all of the comment cans I collect!

So yesterday being thanksgiving day I was thinking about what I was thankful for.

To sum it up there are way to many things I’m happy that I have and that other people have – you know the usual like good health, people who love them, happiness, good friends, amazing family, wicked new lenses, and so on so forth. Then it dawned on me. I actually am one of the lucky people in the world – why? you may ask.

Well Leigh, my wonderful amazing boyfriend.

Every morning I get to wake up beside the person who makes me smile, and every night I get to fall asleep with that worm fuzzy feeling (human hot water bottle..hehe).

Especially since winters here now (just kidding).

But on a serious note – I document couples all the time and the love they share together – bonds that will never break. I hope that I always am lucky enough to have Leigh make me happy and love me and I really hope that I always get to love him and be there for him. He is a great supporter and friend to me.

I love you so much Leigh!!!
