McKeevers Crossing
April 23rd, 2009 • Calgary Band Photography, Portrait and Lifestyle Photography •
So a few months back I had the pleasure of taking personality & group shots for the band McKeevers Crossing. One of their members had to leave and they gained a new one, so a little sprucing up of their shots was needed.
Who are McKeevers Crossing you may ask? They are a fabulous new band that brings a new sound to Alberta’s music industry. Using their own individual experiences they bring together many different elements from many genres of music.
While shooting the guys I was happy to receive my own personal concert. I had the boys play their instruments for me so the photos would have a natural aspect to them.
These guys are seriously talented. If you have a love for Celtic music with a twist of modern influences such as Jazz, Bluegrass, and Folk your in for a treat.
Here are some of the fabulous shots from the shoot.
Spencer Taubner: guitar
Jarred Albright: fiddle and mandolin
Geoff Wallace: vocals, whistles, accordion and percussion
Left: Tim Smith – vocals, fiddle and guitar
Right: David Robinson – bass
Happy Thursday !
