Thats right…. FUSION!

Dance, dance, dance… I think its super important for couples to remember to dance together. As silly or awkward as it might be – it’s always something to do to get nice and close to your hunny. Also I cant say I know one person who doesn’t smile when they are in the arms of the person they love.

Jordana and Mark were super wicked to shoot – I got them to dance at one of the locations and not only did I get them to dance but I also had Mark swing Jordana around and also dip her! I love the expressions on their faces and the way they are together.(trust me it was hard to pick the best images from their session as there was way to many wicked ones to choose from!).

We did their shoot in the late afternoon hitting up a few different locations to get a wicked selection of images with different feels to them.

How did you meet?

We met through mutual friends, Mark played hockey in my hometown and we met after one of his games.

Was it love at first site?

Of course!

What Mark Loves about Jordana:

Her giggle, how understanding she is and how we can talk for hours.

What Jordana Loves about Mark:

His sense of humor and how goofy he is – He can always make me laugh and when I am around him I am constantly smiling…I love it!

How did the engagement go down, who asked who (little story)?

Mark took to me to the spot where we had our first date (10 years ago), he got down on one knee, I said ‘YES’ and that was it! We then we spent the rest of the weekend in Banff and he spoiled me rotten : )

Favorite song to listen to together?

We don’t generally listen to a lot of music when we are together, we are too busy talking and joking around.

What about Jordana makes you smile?

Her sense of humor and how she isn’t afraid to act silly.

If you guys describe each other in one word what would it be?

Forever!

One place in the world they just have to go to together:

We have been lucky enough to be able to travel all over the world because of Mark’s career but one place that we haven’t been and would love to visit would be Italy.

How did you know he/she was the one?

Mark – We’ve been together for years and we have been through everything together, but I truly knew she was the one when she waited around for me when I moved to another country to pursue my hockey career.

Jordana – I knew he was the one when I could not picture my life without him in it.

What about Mark makes you smile?

When he holds my hand or kisses me on the forehead.

What was your favorite thing about your engagement session?

How comfortable we felt, and how that comes across in our pictures. Oh and of course the bum slide down the escalator!!!

What prompted you to do an engagement or partners session?

Our wedding photos didn’t turn out as we had hoped, and we wanted some photos that really showed our personalities and how happy we are at this amazing time in our lives.

How did you hear about Sarah Pukin Photography?

I came across her website and her portfolio was stunning and that’s what sold me.
