Danielle & Todd – Drumheller Hiking Adventure Engagement Session
How freaking excited was I to head out to Drumheller for Danielle & Todd’s Hiking Adventure for their Engagement Session! I couldn’t have been more jazzed. I love shooting in the badlands so much. I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding in Drumheller a few years back that was beyond amazing. For this session I wanted to do something a little different and explore the other side of Drumheller.
We met at Horse Thief Canyon – in my opinion the more majestic of the two bigger canyons in Drumheller. Todd & Danielle were ready with walkie-talkies, hiking boots, and a backpack full of clothing options and shoes!
As we hiked through the canyon, up and down the steep hills with a little bit of scrambling, we stopped for some photos off a ledge looking down at the vast canyon before continuing on down to the bigger spots – as they laughed, smooched and hugged I had such a fun time getting to know them both.
The wind was unreal in the Canyon. Danielle’s hair was majestic and I even think Todd got a mouthful of it a few times. Lucky guy!
I really can’t wait for their wedding this summer. They are seriously so rad and up for anything! I wonder where we will go for their wedding photos! Probably something a little more tame… or maybe not!
