Laura & Cody – Troll Falls Kananaskis Engagement Photos.
It seems most of my summer has been spent checking out new mountains and trails for new and exciting locations – which is a great thing because if not I would never have discovered the beauty of Troll Falls in Kananaskis Country where I recently shot Laura & Cody’s engagement photos!
Troll Falls is just as majestic as it sounds. When I was chatting with Laura about location ideas for photos, it came down to two different falls spots. Laura and Cody, being the cool people that they are, checked out both of them a few weeks before we went there for photos on a tip from a friend of Laura’s from work. So when Laura told me about the falls in Kananaskis, I was insta-pumped to check them out myself and photograph this great couple there.
I love how even though I have only seen Laura a few times since I first met her at Breanna & Hayden’s wedding three years ago (when she was a bridesmaid for Breanna!) she’s simply the easiest person to talk to. It was like hanging out with friends you haven’t seen in a while but you just have that instant vibe of comfort where you can ask them to do just about anything and they will always be up for it… This was perfect since I love creating great experiences like this that will last a lifetime! We adventured up through the streams and down curious trails, finding some gorgeous spots to shoot at before going right behind the falls for a few wet but super cute shots. Troll Falls, we won’t forget you!
