Man + Greg – Engaged

July 28th, 2010 • Calgary Engagement & Partners Photography

Driving up to the first location I was excited to see Man & Greg were just as early for their session as I was.

We met on a dirt road in-front of an old barn that I had found weeks ago – a perfect spot for a picnic engagement session. Greg popped off the top of the champagne bottle and had to do a little dance action to loosen up – it normally takes people 15 to 20 mins to get all loose and comfortable! A little dance was gregs perfect remedy!

I had such a  great time shooting Man & Greg – I hope you guys have a wonderful wedding and such a beautiful life together!!!!

What Man  Loves about Greg:

He makes me laugh, brings a smile to my face…he really is my best friend.

What Greg Loves about Man:

She’s my best friend, sexy, & the banter we have.

How did the engagement go down, who asked who (little story)? We were on vacation in Honolulu and I (Greg) had the ring on me for 4 days before I found the right time.  I was going to propose on a dinner cruise but Man got very sea sick L.  I finally did it at dinner on solid ground.

What about Man makes you smile?

Her smile and laugh.

What about Greg makes you smile?

The corky stuff he does…stuff I only know about…lol

How did you know he/she was the one?

Just knowing how much I missed her while I am away working (Greg).  We had a brief break up, during that time I knew he was the one when I asked him if we made a mistake breaking up, we didn’t get back together then but a month later when he finally realized I was the one… we’ve been together ever since (Man)

You guys Love to:  Cook, travel, wine, dinners and movies.

One place in the world they just have to go to together:

Anywhere as long as we’re together

Our perfect date is: Nice dinner, then Canucks vs. Flames hockey game.

Favorite drink:

Beer (Greg) Bailey’s & Coffee (Man)

The one thing you guys cant wait to do at your wedding:

Watching her as she walks down the aisle (Greg). I can’t wait till I can finally call Greg my husband.

What was your favorite thing about your engagement session?

Location(s) and how you loosened me up (Greg)

What prompted you to do an engagement or partners session?

I have  a wedding app on my iphone and a lot of brides commented on doing epics and I really wanted them done.

Testimonial: Great 2 hour session.  Would recommend you to friends.

Calgary Boudoir Photography Winner!

July 26th, 2010 • Boudoir

A while back I posted a contest on my blog for blog viewers to try to win a mini boudoir session. After hundreds of comments and voted Sandra was the winner!

Her hubby is a big Flames fan and hockey fan so we incorporated a hockey feel into her session!

Here are a few of the images from Sandras’ Calgary Boudoir Photography session.
