Hawty pa tawty!

I had such a wicked time shooting this session! I love love love her images!!!! Why did you/do you want to do a boudoir session? I’m getting married in September and thought this would be the perfect present for Ian. Something he would never ever even think I would do. Were you nervous? I was a little nervous. After initially meeting Sarah previous to the session I felt more comfortable than I would have been if I went in blind. It’s always a bit nerve wrecking to be wearing intimate clothing or nothing in front of a stranger. How did you feel before, during, and after your session? Before my session I was excited to see what Sarah could do with me with what I had brought. During I was having fun getting dressed up and posing. I was also amazed by the transformation with the makeup. Totally blown away. And after, well minus my anxiety about Ian finding out about where I was (my truck just “happen” to have a tire blow out just before my session and was sitting very bluntly on the side of the highway),  I felt really good and excited to see the pictures. Were these photos for a gift? If so who did you do them for? Yes. They are for my fiancé Ian. I am planning to give to him as a wedding gift. What’s your favorite thing in the world to do? Laughing and just being silly : ) What about your session made you smile? To be honest, the fact I couldn’t believe I was actually getting professional pictures taken of me in underwear : ) If you could give advice to anyone thinking about doing a Boudoir session what would it be? Definitely  go through with it. Sarah made the whole experience more comfortable. Any anxious thoughts you might have will defiantly go away. Plus it’s one time you can almost pretend you are posing for Victoria Secret or the such. Defiantly put it on your “to do” list. You won’t be disappointed. Favorite place to get a coffee? Favorite drink there? Starbucks.  Probably Skinny Hazelnut Latte. Favorite colour? I love bright colours cuz they always have that happy summer feeling but if you were to see my closet you would see mostly black. (makes sense I know  : ) ) If you could do 1 thing in your lifetime what would it be? Enter in a figure/fitness competition and place in the top three. How did you hear about Sarah Pukin Photography? Through Google. I was interested in getting Boudoir Photos and didn’t know really any photographers who specialized in it. Once I checked out Sarah’s site, I was sold : ) It was a great experience from the moment I contacted Sarah. She helped to make the whole experience more comfortable and didn’t seem to mind my “nervous” questions J. Any insecurities I had going in went away as the session started and I had a glimpse of the fist few pictures. I had a lot of fun and only wish I wasn’t worrying about being found out by Ian so I could have had a chance to pose in a few different outfits. Afterwards it was definitely hard to narrow down the pictures–all of them were awesome. Overall, it was a great experience and one that I believe everyone should do!!
