Whimsical Wedding at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta.

Alisha and Gregs Canmore Wedding at Silvertip Resort was such a perfect summer Wedding in the Rocky Mountains.

These two have a deep love and adventurous sprit that was perfectly showcased with a mountain backdrop.

Alisha and Greg chose to do a first look in Banff followed by a lake side private vow reading to one another.

They wanted their vows to be private and personal and they were nothing more. All three of us were letting those tears flow.

After lending Alisha my lens cleaning cloth to dry her tears we did a few portraits around the Lake and met up with their Wedding Party for a couple moments together before it was time to head to Canmore for their Ceremony at Silvertip Resort.

Off to the Ceremony

Nestled in the mountains and surrounded by beautiful lakes Silvertip Resort is one of the most sought after venues in Canmore, Alberta.

Silvertip Resort has one of the best views in the Bow Valley – the gazebo overlooks the Town of Canmore and gives the most breathtaking panoramic view. Alisha and Gregs Florest Willow Flower Co. outdid herself – the Gazebo was absolutely beautiful.

As Greg patiently waited at the alter for his Bride – Alisha had a surprise up her sleeves. She had added a train to her dress for that perfect wow moment as she walked down the aisle!

Later when she asked Greg if he noticed something different he responded no – I think it was because his eyes were fixed on his beautiful Brides eyes as she walked down the aisle (you can definitely see it in the photos!).

The Ceremony was moving and beautifully officiated by Angela from Urban Officiant. She’s such a joy to work with from a photography perspective!

A few more portraits

Following the ceremony  after a few moments of congratulations and hugs Alisha and Greg had a moment together overlooking the Bow Valley. The sun flared behind them as they smooched and beamed with joy.

Reception time!

Walking into Silvertip Resorts Reception Area I met the ladies from Signature Weddings the Couples amazing Wedding Planners. They completely outdid themselves. I have photographed tons of Weddings at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta and every single one has had an individual feeling. They put the head table in front of the fireplace and let me tell you… it looked amazing.

As guests found their seats Alisha and Greg got ready for their grand entrance. I found them hiding outside and grabbed a few snaps as they cuddled in the doorway.

The evening was perfect. Beautifully though-out speeches, moments of raw laughter and a few tears. The night ended with the perfect cake cutting (Cake was by Kake by Darci – the best ever) and with a request from Alisha – sparkler photos with their Wedding Party and immediate family. I think she got exactly what she envisioned – maybe a little more!
