This summer just before the snow hit – myself, one spunky talented hair stylist, an awesome make up artist, and one talented little model ventured out to produce a photo story that I had been dieing to do.
Over the last few years I fell inlove with the 1960s so I let it inspire me to shoot a glamorous throwback from the 60s in the countryside.
The story goes a little like this:
Judy, a small town girl who made it big in the movies, ventured back to the little town she grew up in. There, she fell in love with her high school sweetheart. Just as everything was going right, he decided that they were two different people. Judy fought for his love but he wanted her gone. He drove her out to a dirty road and threw her out of his truck (including all the treasured items she had brought back from the big city with her). As she chased after the truck, she knew there was no point – to love a man and fight for him when he wants nothing to do with her was a waste. After a few hours of sitting around being helpless, she decided to freshen up and find a way home. She now knew all the heartache in the world – but she also knew she could conquer it all.
