An Intimate Summer Wedding at Flores and Pine Ridge Meadows Estate in Bearspaw
I am seriously so excited to share this Wedding at Flores and Pines new venue Ridge Meadows Estate with you. You might have noticed that I love backyard and acreage Weddings. With everything that has changed over the last year and a bit my couples have been finding new venues to accommodate their dream day and a lot of them have decided to celebrate outdoors.
Originally these two were having their whole Wedding out at The Cochrane Ranche House and a few weeks before the Bride’s mom found Flores and Pine Ridge Meadows Estate in Bearspaw as an alternative because they did not need a huge reception space anymore.
Stunning Private Estate Wedding Venue
Ridge Meadows Estate by Flores and Pine is a beautiful property with a rustic modern vibe to it. Even a small pond in the backyard and a private micro golf course right on the property!
Ashton is a big golfer so the guys started the day out on the greens while I met the ladies in the Bridal suite in the north wing of the house.
The day was sunny and bright – after getting ready Alannah and Ashton met down the aisle for an intimate ceremony officiated by Married by Cole with their family followed by a small adventure around Cochrane before heading back to Ridge Estates in Bearspaw for their first dance, cake cutting and yummy cocktails.
It was such a blast and honour to work with Amanda from Day of Diva Wedding Planning and all of their other amazing vendors!

From the Bride and Groom
Wedding theme and colours //
I have always loved rustic weddings with moody colors, I always pictured a fall wedding but we ended up deciding to wait until the spring and I am so happy we did because the dark maroon and navy really popped in the fresh green around us in photos.
Approximate number of guests for your Wedding at Flores and Pine//
25, we originally had 180 people on the list but due to covid we had to drastically reduce the number of people. In the end, it was a perfect day, with more people it would have been difficult to actually spend time with each guest.
What theme or feel were you going for //
I was going for a rustic, forest kind of vibe. With a little bit of glamour and fairytale mixed in.
Your top 3 best moments and why //
It is very difficult to pick only 3, the whole day was perfect! The ceremony was wonderful, our officiant really nailed it. When all of our bridal party joined us on the dance floor.
Wedding song, explain choice for song //
Our first dance song was forever and always by Shania Twain. We (I) chose this song because Shania has always been a favourite and it makes sense for us, we have been together forever, and now for always.
If you could own any animal as a pet what would it be //
We love our dogs and couldnt imagine another pet.
