The Malcolm Hotel Wedding
Malcolm Hotel Weddings are always spectacular. From the Mountain views to amazing food it’s a venue that always is a pleasure to photograph at.
Jillian and Nathans summer Wedding at the Malcolm Hotel was nothing but amazing and I just knew it would be!
When I first met Jillian and Nathan I knew they were going to have an amazing day and it was going to be super fun to capture.
Morning preparation!
The day started with beautiful moments of preparation in their suites at the Malcolm Hotel with Jillian’s Mom and bridesmaids all glamming up together before Jillian stepped into her dress.
Shortly after Jillian and Nathan met along a winding path in the Rocky Mountains for their first look.
Adventuring in the Mountains
Just like at their Engagement session we, went on an adventure together, they climbed rocky paths and up moss covered Mountain sides and cuddled along the shores before their friends met us for Wedding party photos.
These are the sweetest people. Truly so helpful, full of laughter and a kindness I had forgot about. Truly just a pleasure to hang out with them all.
Off to the Ceremony
Before we knew it it was time to head back to the Malcolm Hotel for their outdoor ceremony on the patio.
As they went to freshen up I headed out to the patio to photograph their details. Fall for Florals was finishing her stunning arrangement. And Jacqueline Rae Weddings and her team were adjusting the final touches before the guests came in to sit.

The ceremony – what can I even say. It was so beautiful, a tear jerker filled with their love for one another and of course their inside jokes brought laughter throughout the crowd.
During cocktail hour we headed off for a few photos close by of the two of them and the Best Man and Maid of Honour. Jillian never ceases to amaze me – I turned around to see her sitting on the sidewalk – dressed sprawled out so it didn’t get dirty. I almost peed my pants. She’s such a gem!
Reception time!
It was time for their grand entrance – everyone danced their way into the Wedding reception at the Malcolm Hotel. Twirling on the dance floor before heading to the head table.
The doors opened and Jillian and Nathan entered – everyone was on their feet clapping with excitement.
Nothing gets me more than heartfelt speeches and an amazing dance party. The evening was so wonderful.
Night portraits!
The night topped off with a few night portraits – we got caught in a little rain sprinkle and headed to do some quirky moments poolside before returning to their dance party!
