Avy and Tanners Valley Ridge Golf Club Wedding was like being at a garden party.

These two are hands down amazing humans and their Valley Ridge Golf Club Wedding was something out of a romance novel.

I asked Avy about how she envisioned her Valley Ridge Golf Club Wedding she said “Modern Garden”. I would have to completely agree that that is exactly what their Ceremony felt like. The Cellist and Violinist played as Tanner waited at the front of the aisle. Avy walked arm in arm with her Dad down the tree lined path to see him waiting at the end. Everyone on the patio could feel their love – Avys Mom, who I had met earlier in the day, a bubbly babe with a big heart was joyfully crying as her Daughter walked down the aisle.

“Tanner had the most personal and heartfelt vows I could ever imagine – probably one of the most talked about things from our Wedding ! ” – Avy.

Avys hand placed in Tanners, they found themselves ready for vows. The wind had picked up ever so slightly and as he brushed away her hair I could see her eyes filling with love. They said “I do” in an emotional Ceremony full of laughter, hugs and tears. As the two, hands in the air, walked towards me looking into one another’s eyes I being the emotional baby I am teared up just a little – I was so happy for them and had all those warm fuzzies as they adorably walked to the field.

Bridesmaids and Groomsmen met us on the greens where hugs and high fives were exchanged. We went off to take a few photos of the guys looking super rad as the family gathered for photos. The MC announced Avy and Tanner and they came running in to start off their reception!

The reception was adorned with an abundance of florals by the talented ladies at Fall for Florals. Valley Ridge Golf Club Weddings are stunning – the space has beautiful wooden beams and Avy and Tanners vision was carefully executed by Beyond the Proposal – their geometric centerpieces were the perfect compliment to the space.

The night was topped off with dancing, scream singing and a quick night photo or two.

I’m slightly sad that their day has come to an end, because from the minute I met them I knew they were going to be amazing to get to know and after their Engagement shoot at Emerald Lake Lodge I loved being their third wheel!

Congratulations you two. You were a blast to photograph and your friends and family were nothing but total gems!

Wedding theme and colours //

Our theme was “Modern Garden”- Avy always dreamed of her wedding to have a lot of flowers and Fall for Florals made our dreams come true. Burgundy, gold, and navy were our main colours, with a mix of greenery. We love the elegance of gold, and wanted a variety of deep colours as well! Geometric vases, accents of gold throughout gave that modern piece.

Top 3 best moments //
1. Our first look – so much time and work went into planning our day and to finally have it arrive and see each other for the first time made it all feel so real and exciting. We would definitely recommend having a first look to anyone on the fence about it. It gave us that special private moment to soak up all the emotions!!
2. Tanners – Seeing Avy walk down the aisle. That once in a lifetime experience of seeing your bride before she becomes your wife is just indescribable.
 Avy‘s – Tanner’s AMAZING vows & our first kiss as husband & wife. Tanner had the most personal and heartfelt vows I could ever imagine – probably one of the most talked about things from our wedding!
3. Having all our closest family and friends in one room to celebrate our wedding with us! There are just too few of times when all our family can be in a room together. We felt so much love and are so thankful for all those who traveled near and far to be there on our wedding day!

“It’s your love” – Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. It’s one of Avy‘s favourite songs, and since Avy has successfully converted Tanner to loving country music over the years, he loved it too.
Dos music played our ceremony music – they were 10/10!! They even learned “She’s Everything” by Brad Paisley, by our request, as Avy had always planned to walk down the aisle to that song.
If you could own any animal as a pet what would it be and why //
A mini monkey – Tanner would role is eyes if I could bring one of these little loves home – but would grow to love him. Of course, we would never own one of those adorable creatures, as they belong in the wild with their mamas!
