Anne and Francois spent the morning at Venue308 getting ready with their closest friends – A Wedding Party of 14 (16 including themselves). To say it was a bustlingVenue308 Downtown Calgary Wedding you would be right!
Most of my Weddings include a first look with photos before the Ceremony but they decided to wait and see one another for the first time at their Ceremony. Francois face when Anne came around the corner said it all – this woman is the love of his live.
Their Ceremony was full of love and lots of sweet tears. After their Ceremony at Venue308 we did a few Family photos while we waited for the limo to arrive.
We snapped a few moments of the two of them while their Wedding Party packed the bus up with all the goodies!
Then we were off to formals!
Francois and Annes one wish was to get photos on a rooftop and after a lot of hours Googling, asking around and about 8 hours worth of driving around the downtown area they settled on the new Park-Aid downtown – followed by a beautiful garden downtown and we ended High Park doing a champaign spray with a lot of laughter!
It was time to head back to Venue308 for their reception – everyone sang and drank on the way to the venue where they were greeted by all their Friends and Family mingling and drinking at cocktail hour. I slipped away and grabbed some detail shots of their gorgeous Reception set up before their grand entrance.
The evening was absolutely perfection, meaningful speeches, laughter, a lot of crying (my favourite thing about weddings) and one hell of a great dance party!
Also Anne and Francois had a choreographed first dance and let me tell you – they might be professional dancers now. It was jaw-dropping!
